There are numerous programs which, while loading, show a welcome or information screen, called a "Spalsh" screen. These screens can sometimes be irritating for the user or interfere in your daily work, so that if you want to stop them, you need a program like this: Splash Killer.



Splash Killer installs a small icon on the system tray, and lights up when it blocks a splash screen. You can specify exceptions in case you need to, and so not hide a screen you want to see.
